i used to wish i had money for a train ticket
straight into the afterlife
no stops
no mercy
just filthy plastic seats and eons of patient misery
time become fossilized
i cannot sleep
i cannot rest
i cannot move
i can do nothing
but watch the sky’s nameless groove

wish i could keep on these train tracks going nowhere
cars tumbling forever into nothing
falling from the tracks and into the abyss
the world smears into grey upon grey upon grey
and i am swallowed by the void
we are diving into nothingness and nothing we will find
will end this suffering
nor this joy
